Niggas

My neighborhood park was the usual gather place for all walks of life, the old guys the young kids, the drug dealers, any and everybody really. But as time goes by some people grow up and move on. Some people still hang out at the park. I've known these guys for as long as I can remember. Its like the more things change the more they stay the same.

First and foremost I would like to say Happy New Year. I know 2008 was a shitty year for a lot of people, I was no different.

This is Emily (left) and Vanessa (right). They were two of my students and the best of friends. They had this too cool for school attitude which quickly dissolved once time went by. We were taking a field trip to the Italian Market for picutes. We had just got off the subway and stopped to regroup. They were talking as usual and I thought it was a moment between people so I decided to take a picture of it.

A few years ago I met this girl via Myspace. We became friendly, we had some common interests mainly photography. So after a few messages and phone calls we decided to meeat and take some pictures. More or less me taking pictures of her. We met downtown walked to the studio and this is what happened.
